1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) apply to all contracts concluded through this website between Annika Sala and consumers regarding paid access to the documentary “The Silent Path”.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

3. Digital Content
The product offered is paid digital streaming access to the documentary “The Silent Path”. No physical product will be delivered.
The documentary is provided exclusively via online streaming. The customer does not acquire ownership of the documentary or any copyright or other intellectual property rights in it.
Downloading, copying, recording, reproducing, distributing, publicly displaying, making the documentary available to third parties, or otherwise using it beyond private viewing is not permitted unless expressly authorised in writing.
4. Access to the Documentary
After successful payment, the customer will receive an email containing the link or other access information required to stream the documentary. The digital content is intended to be made available immediately after successful payment.
The customer is responsible for providing a valid email address to which they have access.
Access is provided for personal use only. The access link or access credentials may not be shared with third parties.
Access is granted for an unlimited period, for as long as the streaming platform on which “The Silent Path” is made available remains operational, subject to applicable statutory rights.
5. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of “The Silent Path” on the website does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order.
The customer selects one of the available price options, enters the information required to complete the purchase, and selects an available payment method.
Before submitting the order, the customer can review the information entered and correct input errors using the technical means provided during checkout.
By clicking the final button that clearly indicates the payment obligation, the customer submits a binding order.
The contract is concluded when the order is accepted and confirmed electronically. The customer will receive an order or contract confirmation by email.
6. Prices
All prices displayed at the time of purchase are final prices. Where legally applicable, prices include statutory VAT.
There are no shipping or physical delivery costs because the product is provided digitally.
The different price options provide access to the same documentary. Where a higher price option is described as supporting the vision or making a greater contribution, this does not constitute a donation and does not provide additional ownership, participation, copyright or other intellectual property rights unless expressly stated otherwise.
7. Payment
The payment methods available during checkout may include PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, as displayed during the checkout process.
Payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract unless the selected payment provider offers the customer a separate deferred-payment or financing option.
Payment processing may be subject to the respective payment provider’s terms and conditions.
8. Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content
Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with German law.
In the case of paid digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the statutory right of withdrawal expires upon commencement of performance of the contract, provided that the statutory requirements are met. In particular, the customer must have expressly consented that performance may begin before expiry of the withdrawal period, confirmed that they are aware that they lose their right of withdrawal once performance begins, and received the required contract confirmation.
Where these statutory requirements are met and access to “The Silent Path” is provided immediately after purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal expires upon commencement of performance.
Any mandatory statutory rights of the customer in the event that the digital content is not provided as agreed or is defective remain unaffected by this.
9. Immediate Performance and Customer Consent
Before completing the purchase, the customer is required to expressly consent to the provision of the digital content beginning before expiry of the statutory withdrawal period and to acknowledge the resulting loss of the statutory right of withdrawal once performance begins.
The corresponding consent and acknowledgement will be recorded and included in or otherwise confirmed with the contract confirmation provided to the customer on a durable medium in accordance with applicable law.
10. No Voluntary Refund Policy
Except where required by applicable law, no voluntary refund or return policy is offered after access to the documentary has been provided.
Nothing in these GTC limits or excludes mandatory statutory consumer rights.
11. Technical Requirements
To stream the documentary, the customer requires a compatible internet-enabled device, a current web browser and a sufficiently stable internet connection.
The customer is responsible for the costs of their own internet connection and equipment.
The documentary is provided in the format, functionality and quality described on the product page.
12. Statutory Rights for Digital Content
The statutory provisions regarding digital products apply.
If the digital content is not provided or is defective, the customer is entitled to the remedies provided by applicable law.
Nothing in these GTC restricts mandatory statutory consumer rights.
13. Intellectual Property
All copyrights and other intellectual property rights relating to “The Silent Path”, including the film, images, audio, text and other associated content, remain with their respective rights holders.
Purchase grants the customer only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to stream the documentary for private purposes.
Commercial use, public screenings, reproduction, redistribution, recording, resale, sublicensing or making the documentary available to third parties requires prior written permission.
14. Liability
Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unrestricted.
Liability also remains unrestricted for injury to life, body or health and in all other cases in which liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
In cases of slight negligence involving the breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Governing Law
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Where the customer is a consumer and has their habitual residence outside Germany, mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the customer has their habitual residence remain unaffected where applicable.
16. Final Provisions
If any provision of these GTC is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected to the extent permitted by law.
